Hi Folks!
I just wanted to let everyone know that we will begin Volunteer "Boot Camp" Training this Thurs, Aug. 19th in Education Rm A at CRMC at 5:30pm. This training will go for 4 Thursdays in a row, ending with Sept 9th. I can't wait for us to learn how to put all of our thoughts and ideas into action! We will begin with our first real GriefShare program on Sept 16th. If you know of anyone who would like to attend meetings, and would benefit from this program, please start inviting them to come on the 16th of Sept!
For those of you who are pastors on this list, please include this information on your bulletins, and mention it from the pulpit. I believe that word of mouth will be our best advertisement! Also, the Index will be running an interest piece on us shortly, so be looking for that as well.
I think that sums up everything we have going on in the GriefShare community. Help me to spread the word. This is really going to happen, finally! Ooh, almost forgot... Also, if you know of anyone who would like to be a prayer warrior for our team (they do not have to attend meetings) take their name and bring it with you to the meeting along with their phone # and email, so we can keep them updated on prayer requests. Let them know the dates and times of meetings so that we can be covered in prayer!
